From tap. Pours hazy brown with a small tan hesd. Aroma is mild spiced and toasted malty. Dry and slight herbal. Toasted, slight spiced. Bitter and mild caramelish. Dry and bitter far finish.

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark brown to orange with a dense off-white head. Dry yeasty and caramel malty aroma. Light spiced hoppy too. Flavour is smooth caramel malty, light hoppy and yeasty. Smooth and mellow. Lingering malty finish with a light hoppy note.

Pours dark brown with a quickly fading head.Nose shows banana, caramel, sultanas, green apple and cidery notes.Flavours include pine, grainy notes, a bit of brown sugar, cardboard characters.

Bottle, 7.8%. 2012 version. Roasted and vinous aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Good stable light brown head. The flavour is roasted and sweet with a distinct creamy note, perfumy at first, turning almost vanilla-like. Quite bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours nearly clear dark ruby / copper brown with stable beige head. Clear aroma of Belgian yeast and malt,mwith notes of fruit and caramel and touches of hops. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt and yeast, with notes of roast and nuts and touches of hops. Roasty and caramellish aftertaste. Decent.

BOT 03/10/13, BBD 03/10/14. Punertavanruskea olut melko runsaalla vaahdolla. Kiva vaaleanbeige, hieman maitokahvinen puolen sentin vaahtokerros jää oluen pinnalle pitkäksi aikaa. Tuoksu karamellinen, vaniljainen sekä marjaisan mansikkainen. Maku ei niin makea kuin tuoksu antaisi olettaa. Karamellia siitäkin löytyy, mutta sen lisäksi enemmän kuivempaa hedelmää ja happamampaa marjaisuutta. Hyvin vähäisesti hiilihappoja. Kääntyy loppupuolella aika happamaan ja kuivaan, marjaisaan finaaliin. Suupielet tämä saa kuitenkin sokeriseksi.

Bottle, 8.5% ABV. Brown with a creamy pale beige head. Aroma of rich dough, dried bananas, spices, some chocolate, raisins. Much drier than suggested by the aroma with quite strong bitterness and sharpish spices. After the initial surprise the dried fruit and some caramel re-emerge, but it turns out not to be very doughy or bready at all. Grew on me but maybe a slight over-correction to the big sweet christmas beers.

0,33 bottle purchased at Johnny Off L. in Rome-Italy. Dark caramel color, off-white foam. Nose; cinnamon, panettone, caramel. Mouth: quite clean, a nice feel of burnt sugar,smoky finish.

Süßlich malziger Beginn. Dabei tritt die Süße schnell in den Hintergrund, das Malz steigt deutlich an, röstig, der Alkohol ist deutlich erkennbar. Insgesamt rund, trockener Nachhall. 11/10/9/10/10/10
