Sample in a flight at the Craft Growler Shop. Muddy brown, with a thick, tan head that leaves incredibly heavy lacing. Nose is harsh spruce, caramel, resin, licorice, and bitter coffee. Overly bitter, with a bit of syrupy sweetness. Very heavy body, astringent, sticky, and sharp. Overall, this looks amazing, but it is an unpleasant, overhopped, harsh, and awful beer.

On tap @ District 9. Pours a deep reddish brown appearance with a brown head. Smoked chocolate (smores), vanilla, whiskey aroma. Some roast and peat smoke in the flavor. Heavy whiskey and rich oak. Not very exclusive hops. Strong. Not great.
