After brewing and fermentation, CH’TI beers are kept for long weeks in storage tanks. In the calm and cool (0°C) environment, the beer matures, develops a finer taste, perfects its aroma and acquires its natural and characteristic sparkles. It is here also that the beer obtains its balance, finesse and gleam. The Triple is brewed since 1997.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Fruity nose, a little bubblegum. Medium body, quite thick, sweet malts, massive carbonation, again perfumy before a boozy and hoppy finish. Unrefined to say the least. 120713

Draught @ Becoloth, Boxtel. Clear orange-copper color, medium sized white head that disappears fairly quickly. Don’t smell much, but it’s crowded and a lot of people are smoking, so perhaps that’s why. Taste malts, some fruits, a bit fruitpeel, lightly earth. Medium body, ok carbonation.

75cl bottle, best before 03/2012. Orange colour, slightly hazed. Small wite head, looks creamy. Grainy on the nose. Aroma of apricot marmelade, yeast, syrup, some sweet malts, cork. Quite heavy and sharp in mouth thus being quite foamy. Was not expecting special stuff from France and this is it.

Bouteille: Golden, a bit unclear, small white head with a little lace; sweet honeyish-bisquity nose with a light grainy and hoppy background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; sweet bisquity-grainy finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste. Well drinkable, but a bit flat.....
