Bottle: Poured a dark black brown with a thin white head. Aroma is roasted nuts and malt. The taste is rich and full of nuts and roasted malts, there is some sugar as well. This beer is very warming to the core.

Bottled as "Herfstbok" (BB 12/2008)
Dark ruby color, small beige head. Aroma has ash, sweet dates and toffee. Slightly sour flavor. Some roasted maltyness and tobacco which is mixed with molasses. Grassy hoppy with bitterness in the finish, a bit spicey but not specially coriander spicey (which was used here). Not "a real bock" as this is an ale and as such closer to Dutch dubbels than German style bock.
