Sample from bottle #073/480 at Kurtkeller 020: Stout-tastic 01 on 02/22/2015. The beer is a dark brownish-black color with a medium foamy tan head that recedes steadily to a film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and vanilla. Light to medium body with a roasty coffee and malt character, with sweet vanilla in the background. The finish is chocolate malt and coffee. Pretty good overall.
