Nitro pour from 16 oz can. Dark brown with creamy head. Roasty, smoky aroma. Taste adds some a bit of sweetness, but still kind of ashy.

Draft at brewery. Dark brown, black color. Small creamy beige head. Roasted malt is redolent of coffee and oats. Smooth and creamy with sweet cocoa notes. . Easily drinkable and quite tasty.

22oz bottle #245 of 480, bottled Feb 10, 2015, drunk 11/28/15.
Clear black body has a poorly retained beige gead atop.
Very nice nose, soft, mellow and with a lovely vanilla and crunchy coffee bean. Easygoing milk chocolate and very light caramel. No alcohol or flaw.
Toasted malt, bittersweet chocolate, vanilla and cool, 8 hour old coffee throughout a slightly oily, rather watery body. Still there is a decent malty sweetness and it’s quite clean. Some buttery notes linger, with milk chocolate and very low bitterness. Low carbonation, some tighter bubbles would be appreciated but still a fine, drinkable beer.

650 ml bottle with a bottle date of 10 Feb2015. Number 245 of 480. Dark brown in color with thin white head. Aroma is bold coffee, deep roasted grain, chocolate.
Flavor really falls sort of the aroma, more like a coffee brown ale. Lots of caramel, weak coffee. Body is really thin. I guess for a 6% it’s not real thin but after smelling this I had expected much more. I was hoping for more roast and body.

Got this in a trade a while ago. Pours with a very faint dark color. brown with some reddish black hues. 2 finger burnt toasted head. This smells like coffee. just straight up cold brew coffee with pretty much nothing else. Very thin taste, super thin, and honestly, not much of a stout outside of roast but I’d say this is an adjunct dominated beer. vanilla, maple (very faint) and a ton of coffee dominate this. Faint, fades fast except the coffee which has almost no acidity. Pretty unique.
