A Double Tart Brown Ale with Coffee from local roasters up in Mt. Healthy, Deeper Roots. This is a beer of contrasts with an upfront coffee aroma and tart finish balanced by malt flavors of caramel, toffee and a light fruity sweetness that blend with cold pressed Ethiopian coffee, giving flavors reminiscent of a caramel latte.

Draft - Nice rich coffee notes with a hint of chilli spice. Hazy brown with no head. Soured malts and coffee. Not sure I this is a combo I like.

On draught at Flipdaddy’s. The beer is a dark brownish-amber color with a medium thin foamy light beige head that diminishes steadily to a film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of malt, coffee and fruit. Medium to full body with flavors of caramel malt, tart fruit and coffee. The finish is sweet and malty up front with a mildly tart fruit aftertaste. Decent overall.
