Bottled. Hazy ambery golden colour, with a small white head. Aroma is slightly spicy and herbal along with some fruity and sweet malty notes. Flavour is sweet malts, some spices, yeast, mild fruity and floral notes with some slight grassy bitterness as well. Lovely and very refreshing.

Bottle 75 cl. Very lively in the bottle - semi gusher. Cloudy golden with a fluffy, white head. Lots of yeast sediment in the bottle. Fruity, flowery nose. Rich, sweet, fruity body with a lowish carbonation. Some yeastinees but otherwise quite frish and asily drinkable with little bitterness. 100223

Dark golden to light orange with a bit of haziness, hazier on second pour with a bit of sediment too. A rather big frothy white head shows good enough retention and very nice lacing. Aroma: surprisingly subdued, but pretty nice: hay and grainy malt base, a hint of almost dusty/barnyardish earthiness, fruity notes of pear and peach, grassy/herbal and slightly flowery hoppiness, hints of spiciness. Taste notes follow the aroma closely, now with more brightness/vividness. It's a cleanly defined taste, but it also shows a light rustic touch. Medium sweetness and bitterness, with a balanced mouth and a finish and aftertaste that feels a bit on the sweet side (juicy fruitiness), but in a rather dry/clean way. Medium body with quite high carbonation (about average for a saison), resulting in a very easy but nicely lively mouthfeel. A very good example of the saison style.

Bottled (Vasa Sessions)
Hazy yellow-orange colour, small white head. Cardboardish, grassy aroma. Medium-bodied. A bit spicey, pale malty flavour with Saison character. Aroma was letdown, flavour is quite balanced.
