Sample at Daily Growler UA (as Bourbon Barrel Aged Stand Pipe). The beer is a brown-black color with a medium thin beige head that dissipates steadily to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of smoked malt, bourbon and chocolate. Medium to full body with flavors of charred malt, oaky bourbon and chocolate. The finish is roasty with a malt and subtle bourbon aftertaste. Above average overall.
