Sample at the taproom as part of Ohio Brew Week. Dark brown color with a medium foamy beige head that recedes steadily to a film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, coffee and chocolate. Light-bodied and creamy with flavors of chocolate malt, mild coffee and a touch of earthy hops. The finish is smooth with a bittersweet chocolate aftertaste. Above average overall.
