A deliciously creamy brown ale with a toasty, warm finish and hints of nut flavor. Named after the longest living tree at Antietam Battlefield.

Slight nut and roast but a little on the tasteless side. Pours brown with ok head. Cleanish finish. Not a lot here. Can.

12 ounce can thanks to hershiser2. Hazy brown, medium frothy brown head, good retention. Aroma of cherries and caramel. Taste is chocolate, nuts, cherries. Medium bodied, high carbonation. Meh.

Can, courtesy of my boss who picked it up for me on her trip home this weekend. Thanks Christy! Pours clear brown with a large beige head. Aroma is sweet caramel, light roasted nuts. Flavor is caramel, roasted nuts, light chocolate malt, light dish soap. Good flavor, but carbonation perhaps a bit too high.

Draft at Tapp'd. Poured a mostly clear caramel color with a small white head. Aroma was light caramel malts, some nutty character to it. Light nuttiness. Sweet, brown roasted malts. Juicy. Nice.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a very dark brown color with orange highlights and a medium sized creamy beige head that left decent lacing. The aroma was dryish with caramel and wood. The flavor was woody and nutty with a bit of cola and a touch of roasty malts. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.
