CORNET is an oaked, strong, blond Belgian beer (Alc. 8.5% Vol.). Its subtle touch of vanilla is achieved by adding oak chips during brewing. Brewed in honour of Salomon de Maldeghem, Knight in the 11th century.

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Domagoj, thanks! Pale golden coloured, medium sized airy white head, dust and whiff of alcohol in the nose. Sweetish malty, yeasty, light touch of wood and spices but pretty thin overall. Nothing special here.

F: huge, white, very good retention. C: yellowish, hazy, opaque. A: grainy, bread, floral hops, yeast, hint of sweet fruits. T: malty, lemon peels, bread, honey, some dusty tones, hint of earth, grassy herbal hops, nice bitterness, hint of wood, nice balanced, medium to full body, lively carbonation.

Tap at Beer Hunters, Pori. Clear golden color, good white head, lace. Aroma of cloak and yeast. Duh. Medium-bodied. Fortunately flavor is not as bad. Fruity, pear, peach, apple, some alcohol. Very palmish.

Pours vibrant gold with a small head.Nose shows soft grainy wheat-like notes, faint vanilla, confectionery notes.Flavours include more sweet light malt mixing with vanilla and confectionery followed by more of the grassy and earthy hops.

(Keg at OlutExpo 2015) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, malts and yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, malts, sweetness, booze and bitterness. Aftertaste was boozy and bitter. Nothing worth remembering in this brew.
