A collaborative barrel aged product between Vander Mill and New Holland Brewing Company, This cyser is fermented with Michigan wildflower honey to complete dryness and then aged in New Holland Dragons’ Milk barrels for eight months. The richness from the stout, and depth of the barrel flavor make this product very complex. A hint of the honey and acidity of the cider round out the profile.

Refrigerated 76 cl brown bottle poured into a snifter. Clear golden, wood aroma, medium body, and a little carbonation. Taste is wood, honey, and some chocolate.

Shared bomber. Clean, shiney light gold. This is the best "cider" I have experienced. Granted, I’ve had few because I’ve been of the opinion that they pretty much taste the same-- like hard cider. Not this one. Oak character. Hints, just hints of bourbon. Apple and honey, but not the tart fruity character of apple nor the sweet stickiness of honey. Everything balanced nicely. Definitely a "buy again."

Draft at Olympic. From notes. Mildly sweet and mildly tart. Vary darn good. Not getting a whole lot of barrel character nut I’m digging it.
