Say g’day to a grog brewed with some of Australia’s finest hops. pFriem Down Under IPA is a bright copper beer overflowing with notes of strawberry, kiwi, citrus and huckleberry. So let’s raise our pints to a beer packed with more hops than a western brush wallaby.

On tap at the brewery. Pours golden with medium off white head that lasts. The aroma is tropical fruit and dank. Medium mouth, juicy hop, grapefruit, dank, lingering resin finish, very nice.

Well this makes it 7000. A brewery I am starting to love with one of my favorite styles. Anyway, I’m about to tick another 7K with RBSG tomorrow. 500 ml bottle from Whole Paycheck. Pours a clear golden hue with a medium white head. A big sweet candy and fruity hop nose. Rich fresh hops, resin, huge oranges, some light bitterness but this is all late boil hops. Really chewy. Awesome.

Hazy blond color with compact head.
Deep aroma; dryish and balanced flavor; biscuity malts in the background support a perfect hopping; you get a tropical fruit salad and a serious animal character (musk), more evident in the final.
A gorgeous IPA.

Deep blond color, hazy, with small compact head. Very nice hoppy aroma, pungent, with passion fruit, fox grapes. Dry and lean mouthfeel; the malt character is present, with an accent of straws, a good backbone, but overwhelmed by the strong hopping; pungent and fruity flavor, bordering some sweaty feral animal character too. Strong bitterness, with no excess; the final presents some bitter orange peel too.
Clean and bold. Excellent.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear faded golden / copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of piney hops and a little resin. Flavour brings out a boatload of piney hops, not a whole lot else, maybe a bit of resin. Not too much residual sweetness, making this highly drinkable. Excellent stuff.
