Draught @ Fermentoren. Opaque pitch black color, nice creamy medium brown head that lasts for quite a while and leaves great lacing. Taste malts, light to moderately roasty, a superb bitterness, lightly liquorice. Long lasting roasty bitterness in the finish. Lovely oily thick and velvety mouthfeel, full body and suitable soft carbonation. Lovely stuff!!

Draught @ Fermentoren
Spicy aroma with dark chocolate and sweet cocoa. Also rather strong brown sugar tones. Flavour has salty licorice, some warming alcohol and herbal tones. Also dark chocolate. Too salty but nice anyway.

På fat. Smak och doft av kaffe, choklad, soya, sirap, vanilj och torkad frukt. Rund, fruktig med en något sträv och pepprig beska med smak av bitterchoklad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Haand Festival. Dark brown body topped by a finger-thick tan head. Some notes of forest in the aroma, roasted and licorice-ish, with a little touch of dusty basement. The flavor has some bitterness, mostly of the roasted kind, as well as the toast and licorice found in the aroma. Less dusty. Full body with a nice carbonation level. Faintly warming. A really pleasant one, in particular I like the forest and dust, which adds a little extra. 130525

Sampled at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013 - Day 2, Session 1. Pours oily black with a thick, brown cream head. Kind of simple dark malts on the nose with dusty cocoa accents. Medium sweet flavor with dry roast, cocoa, burnt wood and some dried dark fruits. Very nicely balanced. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Dry, somewhat woody finish with dry chocolate, baking cocoa and earth. Very good. Slow starter but a strong finisher.
