Lett sødmerik røsta lukt med preg av mørk røsta malt, humle, røsta kaffi og korn, sjokolade, karamell. Lett fyldig sødmerik og tørr smak med preg av mørk røsta malt, humle, brent kaffi, korn, karamell, bitter mørk sjokolade, gras, salt. God bitterhet som set godt. God.

On tap @ Cardinal. Pitch black body with a big, creamy stable beige head. Strong and fine aroma of dark malt, coffee, dark fruit, dark chocolate and slightly roasted. Flavor is sweet, dark malt, coffee, dark chocolate, dry fruit and pleasant bitterness. Fine body with a long aftertaste of roasted malt, chocolate and pleasnet bitterness. A modern, classic porter close to perfection.

Fra fad på sesongstart Mandag i annen aug-13: denne kom rett etter Quist. Litt søtere, meget god og med en ret lækker eftermag. Rund og dejlig.

Draught @ CBC 2013 [ Red Session ]. - Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013, Sparta Hallen, Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 11, 2100 Copenhagen, DenmarkClear dark black brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark roasted. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, dark roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130504]

Pours pitch black with a smooth brown head. Aroma of licorice, roasted malts, sweet chocolate and cola notes. Taste is smooth, slightly roasty and hoppy with loads of licorice, salty salmiakki notes and hints of wood. Finish is smooth, salty and roasty with notes of vanilla, licorice, salmiakki and dark ripe fruits. Well balanced, tasty and smooth porter with massive amounts of licorice. Great stuff.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.5%. Pitch black coloured beer, creamy head of milk chocolate colour. Lovely roasty aroma of dark chocolate and coffee, a hint of exotic woodwork. Roasty flavour, medium dry, coffee and dark chocolate again, a hint of tobacco. Very good.

Medium dark brown head. Opaque black body. Roasty spicy chocolatey taste with mealy notes. Dry-sweet roasty burnt peppery taste with resiny oily notes. Mid-to-full body. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish spicy chocolate and earth aftertaste with grainy resiny roasted rice notes. Nice! Vivid and drinkable. (0.15l draft at Haand 13.)
