Barrel Room Collection IV
Our third iteration of this beer, this special batch of Belgian tripel has been tucked away in the back of the barrel room for nearly 3 years. During its 33 month repose, this beer has gained massive apple brandy and oak overtones, truly blurring the lines of beer and spirit.

Bottle shared at the 10th Annual Epic & Unusual Beer Tasting, 11/29/15. Hazy orange, thin fizzy off-white head, decent retention. Aroma of strong whiskey, earth, wood. The taste is bready malt, candi sugar, wood, apple brandy, raisins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, over-barrelled, boozy.

Woodshed 3.0! Big thanks to dak for saving this whole series and sharing with us. Awesome!! Bottle #305 pours with a clear gold body that supports a weak off white head. The aroma offers up boozy mead like notes, sweet booze, coconut, pineapple and some brandy notes at the end of the draw. The taste is smooth with sugary sweet apricots and pineapple mixing with brandy booze and little else.

Sampled on draft at the House of 1000 Beers this beer poured a hazy orange-amber color with a trace foamy white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was boozy apple cider and brandy. The flavor was boozy with tart apple cider, rum and yeast. Long boozy apple and rum finish. Moderately full bodied but undercarbonated. Overwhelmingly boozy. Ok.
