Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of lemons, straw, and hops on a malty background. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, hay, hops, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Location: Pour from a two litter Hill Farmstead growler I just picked up at the brewery, 7/7/15

Aroma: The aroma is full of bright tropical and citrus hops, peach, mango, floral notes, and some light malt. Amazing. It really just hits all the marks of a tropical forward, hoppy beer.
Appearance: From the bulbous growler it pours a murky looking bright (like almost highlighter level) orange with a thick, frothy, white head and some lace that pretty much coats the glass.
Flavor: This one drinks really nicely with a strong tropical/fruity hop flavor, great balance. The hops shine through here with just a right on mix of the bitterness and the sweetness.
Palate: Medium-plus bodied, with a smooth, creamy feel, soft carbonation, and a clean, dry finish.
Overall Impression: This is one of those beer that the more I drink the more I like. From the sample at the brewery, I thought this was my favorite of their excellent beers that were pouring that day, but I've had a good 2+ glasses of it at this point, and know I know, this beer is an absolute knockout. The brightness of the fruity hops, the perfect cleanness of the bitterness, the smoothness of the mouthfeel, everything here is just right on. Seriously, for anyone who wonders if it's worth driving out to the middle of fucking nowhere to get their beers, my answer is yes.

Growler split at the 5/7.5/10K tasting, massive thanks to Leighton for more of this fine VT hop jus, 30/12/14. Hazed orange amber with a decent off white covering - a real looker of a beer. Nose carries big citric sherbets, pine needle, tangerine, grapefruit, dank hop strokes. Taste comprises pine, bitter citric rinds, orange pith, straw, mandarin, tangerine, apricot tang. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with juicy citric hop notes. Super solid world class DIPA. Drinks a good bit under 8% as well!

Growler - Lots of lemon and tangerine. Cloudy gold with a light white head. Just as it smells with a dry bitter finish. Light and easy drinking, very flavourful.

5 Kay, 7.5 Kay, 10 Kay Tasting. Big thanks to Leighton for this one. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Mild orange and hop skunk nose. Palate is airy and semi dry with good fine carbonation. Mellow and light pale malts. Big skunky hops, slightly dank. Spicy herbal bitterness. Little floral piny sweetness. Bitterish orange morphing in to peel. Light airy finish with a peel bitter linger. Nice. Very nice.

Fresh growler shared at Another Tasting. Pours very hazy dull golden orange with an off white head. Aroma is super dank, massive citra as expected, I’m getting massive melons from this. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and over moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Superb!
