Bouteille partagée avec Jcwattsrugger. Couleur orange brumeuse, blanche. Arôme, de banane et grains pas vraiment autre chose à y trouver. Palais, banane et bien sucrée garde au fini un aspect de grains, fine aigreur de fruits mais au final cette bière reste bien douce. La banane est un des ces fruits qui n’est pas facile a brassé et cette bière loin d’être parfaite reste agréable a boire.

Bought in Paris more out of idle curiousity than anything else. Looks okay, yellow colour, modest head. Aroma is distinctly fake banana, banana syrup, like I smelled as a kid when licking banana popsicles. The taste is a rough and foul mess of banana syrup, lambic sourness, dark wood. Really awful aftertaste. Not even refreshing like some of the artificial krieks and fruit beers. Not even anything. Just a bad idea! Should have never been marketed!

Bottle. Pours with a clearish golden body with some sediment and a small white head. Aroma: Urine. Some must, cork, vanilla, nut, fake banana and rotting garbage. Taste...LADY’S AND GENTLEMAN, WE HAVE A WINNER!!! Officially the worst fruit Chapeau that I have tasted to date. Cloying does not even begin to describe. Buttery, waxy, steaming garbage. Terrible, Awful, ABOMINABLE! Sticky mouthfeel that is about as pleasantly sticky as napalm. God this is bad.

It’s a banana lambic. It tastes like a banana lambic. May be a bit sugary for some. Sour banana taste and nose. It’s not for everyone. I tend to love De Troch, so I’m going "against the grain" here. Rated 4/4/10 Original rating 4.1 Rerate 3.0

Bottle. very slight banana aroma. Taste like I thought, banana with some beer flavour. Appearance - very artificial yellow color. Sweet live finish. I am not fruit beer lover, but I love to experiment. Not so bad.

Bottle, 2010-02-25, Göteborg AR: Toffey - Banana, when poured banana perfume (don’t think that have been a commercial success yet) AP: brownish yellow (dirty?) coloured body, wee white head F: sour banana flavor, sugar, a bit like pie mmm if you’re going for Banana try the Mongozo one :-)

Clear golden, small white head. sweet ripe fruity aroma, a little ripe banana, faint wheat. flavor is banana, sourness, strange bitterness that is almost smoked. ends banana-bitter, honey, strange.

Clear golden with a tiny white short lasting head. Not that sweet aroma with hints of banana and barnyard. Flavour had banana with mild abrnyard and wood notes. Finished mild tart.
