Bottle. A hazy, golden-orange beer with a small, white head. A slightly funky, sourish nose with banana dominating. The flavor is also citrusy and slightly sourish and funky, with ripe banana the most evident. Slightly stingingly sour mouthfeel. Short finish. A really strange one, or at least unusual. Refreshing, quenching and sort of nice. I expected a banana lambic to be a horrible idea, but it works. In a way. On the sweet side though, without it being just sweet. (090430)

Bottle. Pours a gold with a thin head. Aromas are bananas and maybe cloves. Flavor is not at all good. Bananas with cloying apple juice concentrate backdrop. Bleh!

Sampled at Zythos 2009. Pale gold, thick lasting beige head. Well it smells of bananas which is a start. Startlingly sweet. Not as bad as I thought. Some attempt at a bit of sourness.

Consumed at Zythos, St Niklaas, Belgium, 08-03-09 This came courtesy of Ian and Mes who were on a Brouwerij De Troch tasting mission, cheers lads. Pours clear lemony yellow with a white head. Aroma is of sour green unripe bananas (so thats a good start) But there was just a hint of sacchrinne in the background, in fairness this wasn’t really intruding too much. Sweet and yet a bit tangy and big banana from the off, touch sticky. Not my favourite but not as bad as I was expecting. A5 A4 F4 P3 OV08 2.4

Bottle, 3.5%. Sour banana aroma. Almost clear colour, very small white head. The flavour is quite acidic, with some banana.

Artificial banana candy aroma. Look of a ubiquitous pale yellow american clear lager. Very nice flavor, not objectionable in any way. Light and fruity. Easy to accept. Surprized to see they use real bananas in this stuff, it sure tastes more like banana syrup. Easy to gulp and easy to enjoy. Good as any other fru-fru fruity sweet lambic. Lovely sweet and bubbly. No bitter linger at all. Good fine lambic. Unique, with it’s bananas and all.

Clear yellow with no head at all. Banana bubble gum style (skumbananer) Violently synthetic & sweet. Very soft & mild body with a very sweet & cloying banana taste.

25 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy yellow with a lacing white head. Aroma is sticky sweet banana - even from a meters distance, it did reveal some lambic notes once my nose had adjusted to the banana aroma. Slight lambic sour note in the start and finish and with a sweet banana flavour in the middle. No bad as such - but I honestly will never return to this.

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour, not much head. Artificial bananas with sweetish sourness all the way through, both in aroma and flavour. Don’t ever try to have any kind of cheese with this one...

A diffuse blonde with a white head. Aroma of banana bread and nail remover. In mout, a sweet aple and banana in mout, with very light acidity. Not bad, not good. LCBO offering.
