Bottle. Color: Ruby red, small beige head. Taste: Watery, roasted malt, brown sugar, bread. Light body, bit bitter at the finish.

0.3 l bottle from AH (Sittard), best before April 2018. Clear, deep brown with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Faint, sweetish-malty, minimally roasty aroma of caramel, toasted nuts and hints of chocolate. Moderately sweet, malty, a little roasty taste of caramel, toasted nuts, some chocolate and hints of licorice, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a bit roasty finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not bad!

Het bier gedronken bij de Enck. Het is een donkere bok met matig, bruin schuim. Het heeft een lekkere smaak, met een vleugje caramel en rooksmaak.

Bottle from shop in Groede. Dark brown, beige foam. Sweet nose of caramel, dried fruit. Medium body. Light bitter, easy drinkable. Not bad.

Flesje thuis gedronken. Roodbruin bier met beige schuimkraag die redelijk blijft staan. Aroma is moutig en caramelachtig. Redelijke zoete smaak waar de gebrande granen duidelijk door komen. Lekkere smaak ebt snel weg alleen de bittere hop smaak blijft even hangen.

Clear red brown beer, creamy beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, some lacing in the glass. Aroma: sweet, lots of caramel, dried fruits, some overripe banana. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very sugary, caramel, alcohol, some banana. Aftertaste: bitter touch, bit sourish, banana peel, metallic, meh.

Amber color with tan head. Aroma is dark malts, raisins, rusty nails. Taste is dry, slightly metallic, dark malts. Rather boring.
