Pour is a clear amber with a medium sized head. Slight aroma of vanilla. Flavor is also a slight vanilla which is fine by me and some times brewers can make the vanilla way overpowering. Finish leaves a little creaminess on the tongue. Tried it mostly because of the name.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber orange with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of vanilla and sweet grains with a bit of bread underlying. Flavor has vanilla and bread with a bit of straw underlying.

Tap at Pig Minds. Unfiltered chunky amber burgundy brown body. Surprisingly non-aromatic. Works well with the amber malt. Tastes like a nice Winter Warmer. Smooth and malty. Classic, the vanilla is in no way overbearing, but is present. Well done.

Tap. Pours hazy reddish Amber, tiny ring of beige head, a bit of lacing. Aroma is vanilla and caramel. Flavor is vanilla creme soda all the way, medium sweet, not bitter. Medium body, very low carbonation.

Shaker filed to the broom, Cellar Door. Rather slight amber malt smell at first, cloudy brown body under a foamy Ale head. Taste did differentiate this one, as it turns out. There is the slightly roasty more of amber malt, then vanilla arrives in a separate mailing. Vanilla gives the impression that this beer has more alcohol than it lists. After half the glass, I do get the off - centered bitter aftertaste from vanilla. But then it’s settled by malt sweetness. The only red Ale you need for St. Patrick’s weekend.

Draft. Poues a dark amber with a red tint. Aroma of caramel and vanilla, taste follows suit. Another winner.
