5oz draft at brewery. Black beer with dark brown head. A 9% impy with cocoa nibs and coffee that tastes like its small, not sweet, and just a light touch of coffee. Well color me surprised when I got this. My wife brought it to me and I was thinking maybe this was a regular stout when drinking it. Way to do an impy without alt the trappings.

Drank a 22oz bottle of this while I was homebrewing. Poured a slightly fizzy dark, black-brown color with a small white head. Aroma was roasted malts, light chocolate. A touch too carbonated, which caused the drink to be a touch less enjoyable to consume - not sure if it was how the bottle could have been stored or handled before I picked it up. Alcohol is virtually hidden in this one for having such a high abv.

On tap at the BNA Party last week. Solidly opaque with a decent tan head. Rich roasty earthy chocolate dare I say mocha aroma and flavor. Creamy silky mouthfeel. Pretty damn good beer, I went for seconds actually.
