rood/bruin met minimaal fijne licht bruine kraag aroma: alcohol, caramel, aarde mouten, gist,floraal smaken: stevige caramel, honingzoet, licht bittertje, ietwat aardse mouten, kruidig.alcoholisch redelijke body, iets romig, laag co2 fijne stevige smaken, prima!

33cl Bottle, bought at NHBF from the brewer. Dark reddish brown colour, thin beige head. Aroma of dark fruits, forest fruits, light tart, malts, yeast, it’s nice. Flavour is sweet, very fruity, again dark fruits and forest fruits, a little roasted malts, liquorice, light bitter and light tart finish. Soft carbonation, medium bodied at best, could’ve used a bit more body, but this is imo a very tasty BSA. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is also brewed at De Schans.

33cl bottle thanks to Dutchdrebus @ QDT ’12. Clear ruby red color, small beige head that disappears almost instantly. Smell malts, sweetness, lightly some hops. Taste malts, pretty sweet and lightly hops. Low to medium carbo, medium body.

Bottle @ QDT?12. Clear ruby red to brown colour with an off-white head. Smells hoppy, malts, caramel. Tastes weird sweet, hoppy, slightly bitter, some hay.. Like a light barley wine. Quite a special beer. Medium to full body, perfect soft carbo.
