$4.04 pint can, TW-SP. Pours dark brown, almost black, with a small tan head. Wow, the aroma is surprisingly pleasant! Sweet caramel, chocolate, raisin, hazelnut. Flavor is very similar, though something artificial in there. Caramel, raisin, chocolate, cocoa, vanilla. If it wasn't for the artificial flavor, this would have an 8 for flavor... but it's obvious. Overall, still impressed, strangely.

Pounder: Chocolate, cardboard, caramel, graham cracker nose, good strength. Black, thick beige head, sticky head. Toasted marshmallow, vanilla. Medium body, soft carbonation. Pleasant surprise!

Sampled from a can this beer poured a black color with a huge foamy brown head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was strong salted caramel and dark chocolate although fairly artificial. The flavor was salted caramel, malt and chocolate. Again artificial. Long finish. Medium body.

Sample at GROWL! during the "Southern Tier Tap Takeover to benefit Flying Horse Farms!" event on 06/29/2017. Dark brown color with a medium tan head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Small patches of lace. Roast malt, caramel and chocolate in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of caramel, roasted malt and cocoa. The finish is sweet with a caramel aftertaste. Decent overall.

It is what it says. Lots of salt and caramel and chocolate. Too much candy for me not enough beer. At my brother in laws. Sweet for sure.

Bottle from Bert’s Pours a solid dark brown with a decent sized tan head that persists. Huge burnt creme brulee caramel on the nose with hints of chocolate and a pinch of salt. the flavor is again big toasted caramel with just a hint of chocolate earth and salt. I wasn’t expecting much from this, but I was pleasantly surprised. This is a tasty desert in a glass!

Bottle, rare. This is the real thing. Smells like a mild peanut buster parfait with carmel. Looks dee-lish. Quite strong I’d say, yesserie. Yea, erie, like south of rochester, south of buffalo. Big strong craft brew impact, almost borders on imperial stout. Quite a fricken brew. Look, I don’t care for baltic porters but this is terribly on style. Now, only if I can get them to move this to the baltic porter style, heheheh. Sometimes a hidden vanilla and caramel flavor make this a little less tolerable, in a cloying kindah way. Some black coffee in the finish.
