Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a cloudy apricot color with a large fluffy yellow-white head that lingered and left excellent lacing. The aroma was leafy floral, herbal and almost minty hops. The flavor was bitter, sweet and tangy with leafy floral and herbal hops. Long finish. Medium body and smooth. Well done.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 4/26/2016. Pours hazy deep orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, mango, melon, lemon/orange peel, berry, light pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate dark/bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, mango, melon, lemon/orange peel, berry, pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus peel/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, mango, melon, lemon/orange peel, berry, pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors lingering after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, that increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

From a can is high hopped ipa aroma. Pour is somewhat viscous. Look is somewhat cloudy hefe. Taste is rudely and terribly on style. What else can be said? Will never get used to these ipa monstrosities. Finish borders on double ipa. Build a funeral pyre for my poor Flemish loven taste buds.
