We've used loads of hops from North America - Columbus, Centennial, Amarillo, Citra and Cascade - because we just love the bold aromas they bring to the beer. To balance out all this hoppy goodness we've added lots of Rye, plus some pale ale and cara malt

Red brown colour. Floral hop aroma and taste. Carbonation is a bit rough. Feels slightly unrefined. Decent but nothing special.

clear orange brown, smooth small light brown head. very nice and balanced strong hoppy and malty aroma. truly amazing they can get this wih only 5% abv. Flavor is quite hoppy bitter, also some flowery notes, malts are also bitter with some subtle flowery and caramelly notes. Quenching if you like bitter and dry. Tastes really good.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear nutty brown with a smallish, dissipating off-white head. Nose is estery British yeast, caramel and phenols - sorry but I simply donโ€™t find those nice hop varieties mentioned on the label. Medium body, lowish carbonation, caramel and some odd off-flavors. Bitter finish but no aromatics. Poor - old? 150115

Bottle at Granite City. It pours clear deep red-brown with medium beige head. The nose is bitter-sweet, spicy, wood, earth, toasty brown bread and dried fruits. The taste is bitter, piney, rye bread, varnish, leather, spice, toffee, resin, earth, grapefruit and orange rind with a lingering dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Punchy bitterness. Nice earthy resin. Good work.

Bottle, 5%. Refreshing caramel aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Good stable tan head. The flavour is spicy and slightly roasted with a good grassy hoppiness. Well-balanced.

Bottle. Pours clear copper brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of rye, yeast and hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of rye and estery and fruity touches. Bitter, hoppy finish. Low carbonation. Medium to thin body. Not bad for the style, and not but in general, either.

Clear copper, frothy offwhite head. Good hoppy aroma, fruity with caramel and pine notes. Flavour has hoppy bitterness, smooth with malty caramel and roasted notes. I can only detect very slight hints of rye. Simple but nice.
