If you are in the mood for something wildly unique and interesting, this sour, smoked Gose is for you. We used oak and beechwood smoked malts, along with a fair amount of wheat malt, Hallertau hops and hickory smoked salt. Not many beers out there combine flavors of puckering sour, smoke and salt. For limited pub release.

Sample at GABF 09/26/2015, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Clear yellow-gold color with a medium thin white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus, yeast and smoked malt. Light to medium body with a smoky character and notes of tart citrus, oak and yeast. The finish is fruity and smoky. Above average overall.
