Maker of things is bottle conditioned for at least two months before release, and each bottling will be slightly different, so keep a bottle (cellar temperature) for a vertical tasting! It should last at least 3-5 years.
Maker of things is bottle conditioned for at least two months before release, and each bottling will be slightly different, as the base recipe changes ever so slightly, and the average age of the beer in the foeder becomes older and older. Cool

Clear deep red pour. Smells of oak, funk, and tart cherries. The flavor is at least moderately tart with oak, dark fruit, especially cherries, and malt. Medium body, fine carbonation and a tart oaky finish. Excellent.

Draft at brewery. Opaque copper color, fuzzy head. Strong aroma, reaches the nose from the table, woody, fruity. Taste is tart, cherry, plums, woody. A healthy pucker on this one. Wonderful Flanders!

750 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 9/1/2017. Pours lightly hazy reddish orange/copper color with a 2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big tart cherry, cranberry, raspberry, raisin, plum, apricot, lemon, lime, green apple, melon, red grape, red/white wine, toasted oak, hay, straw, grass, pepper, caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, and nuttiness; with lighter notes of roast, oaken vanilla, leathery/musty funk, red wine vinegar, and yeast/oak/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/spicy/acidic yeast, dark/bready malts, and moderate oak notes; with great strength. Taste of big tart cherry, cranberry, raspberry, raisin, plum, apricot, lemon, lime, green apple, melon, red grape, red/white wine, toasted oak, hay, straw, grass, pepper, caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, and nuttiness; with lighter notes of roast, oaken vanilla, leathery/musty funk, red wine vinegar, and yeast/oak/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate lactic tartness, yeast/oak spiciness, and wine tang on the finish. Lingering notes of tart cherry, berries, raisin, plum, apricot, lemon, lime, green apple, melon, red grape, red/white wine, toasted oak, hay, straw, grass, pepper, caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, nuttiness, vanilla, leathery/musty funk, red wine vinegar, and yeast/oak/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy/acidic yeast, dark/bready malts, and moderate oak flavors; with an awesome malt/tart/sourness and yeast/oak spiciness balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from tart/sourness, yeast/oak spiciness, and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 7.5%. Overall this is a fantastic Flanders red ale! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy/acidic yeast, dark/bready malts, and moderate oak flavors; very smooth and easy to drink; with the modestly lactic/tangy/tannic/drying finish. Very well rounded fruity/funky Brett and Lacto complexity; great dark/bready malt balance, and nice oak foeder presence. Never overly sour/lactic. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. One of the better ones I have ever had.

Bottle in Winter Park with jcnielsen. Thanks Justin. Pours a dark red appearance with a big brown head. Aroma has dough/bread, vinegar, red fruits, and paper. Fairly acidic. Lots of vinegar and cherries. A little bit of a burner on the way down. One of my least favourite Little Fish releases so far.

Sample at the taproom as part of Ohio Brew Week. The beer is a clear reddish-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing. Oaky aroma with tart fruit and malt notes. Medium body with flavors of tart apple and citrus, yeast and malt. The finish is moderately sour with a fruity aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
