Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of straw, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle 25 cl. Courtesy of Countbeer. Pours a clear deep golden withh a white head. Very subtle hop aroma atop some caramel. Medium body, caramel and overripe fruit with a toffeeish finish. No real bitterness. Completely lacks impact of the Nelson Sauvin Hops. 040213

Small, if reasonably stable white head over clear metallic-golden beer. Toasted malts, sugarsyrup, honey, bit herbal... as to Nelson Sauvin?? Even not dry - sweetish pale and toasted malts, seems even a tad oxydized. Light body, slick, bit dead. Very Palm, little Sauvin. ’nuff said.

17/VII/2012 - 25cl bottle from AH (Ede) @ home - BB: 10/IV/13 - (2012-723) Thanks to Jois for getting me the beer!
Clear orange to light amber beer, off-white fizzy head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet malts, caramel, toast, some citrus fruits, other ripe fruits, bread yeast. MF: ok carbon, light to medium body. Taste: some citric bitter hops first, pretty grassy, a bit of grains. Aftertaste: somewhat malty, toast, pretty bitter, green banana, some citrus. In a blind tasting I'd never guess the Nelson Sauvin in it, then Delhaize, sorry, Dirk from De Proef, did a better job accentuating the specific hop flavours. But a decent beer in it's own way. I'm always surprised to see such a low ratings for Palm. I guess it's because I grew up with it, that I always kinda like it?

Bottle. Clear amber with slight carbonation and a small white head. Light, sweet malts and tropical fruit aroma. Flavour was sweetish, with some caramel, a touch of bread malts and short, bitter finish. Hop character was absent until very late on, more of a repeating after taste. Good idea, but needs some work.
