Milk stout is in a widely drunk beer in Great Britain, but it remains unknown in the Netherlands. This beer is full and malty in flavour, and also happens to have the lowest alcohol percentage of all the beers from our brewery. Milk sugar (lactose) is used to give this beer its distinct sweetness.

On tap at De Prael Proeflokaal Amsterdam. Black coloured, medium sized brownish head, caramel and milk chocolate in the nose. Light roasted malt, caramel, milk chocolate, brown sugar and sweetish finish. Bit sugary but ok.

Bottle at Beermalade. Lots of roast, coffeeish, even kind of licorice. Slightly more roast bitterness than sweetness. Almost no carbonation, also quite light body. Not bad, not particularly good either.

Aroma is koffie achtig. Smaak is plat, ietsje koffie achtig. Weinig nasmaak.
