Can. Golden in color with a three finger head. Aroma is citrus, bread and hay. Taste is a tad fruity sweet upfront then it gets bitter.

Pours amber with a fluffy white head. Aroma of hop resins. Taste has viney must, vague herbal notes, hop oils. Pine and resin on the palate, some hop bite. Unremarkable.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Manchester Wine and Liquors. Appearance is cloudy light brown/dark orange with lots of dark floaters, mild sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width foamy off-white head with fair retention and light foamy lacing. Aroma is citrus, fruit and pine. Taste is sweet fruit and citrus with late bitter pine and earthy resin. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and sweet over bitter finish. Overall, not as fruity/juicy and more bitter than expected from the description. Decent enough but not terribly unique.

16oz can. Unfiltered orange-tan body. quite murky. Massive, pour delaying, off-white head. Still comes off bitter and diesel and oniony despite the solid hop bill. Boozy, heavy for the moderate ABV. Floaties at the bottom quarter of the can. Maybe this beast just can’t stand the test of time.

Purchased at Finch Kitchen in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home on a snowy Sunday afternoon while watching football. Appearance is a dark golden ruby with a large frothy white head. Aroma is very nice, grapefruit and orange peel notes, smell is very nice. Taste is also very nice, the bartender @ Finch Kitchen told me this is much better in can, I didn’t try on tap, but it’s very good from can. Will have again!
