ALFA Ongefilterd Puur is een zeer uitzonderlijk bier en een natuurproduct in optima forma. Het bier is goudblond van kleur, evenwichtig, verfrissend en volmondig van smaak. Een traktatie voor de echte bierliefhebber. Pils op z’n Puurst, want het bevat nog levende fermenten. Het wordt dus niet gefilterd. Het is rijk aan vitamine B en antioxidanten en bezit alle goede eigenschappen van ons Edel Pils. Het is dan ook niet mogelijk ALFA Ongefilterd Puur te bottelen; het kan alleen rechtstreeks uit de tank gedronken worden. Ons ongefilterde bier is verkrijgbaar bij speciale evenementen en bij een zeer select aantal kroegen (van de Beerkompanie).

Tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is typical sulphuric Zwickel, bready, grainy. Taste is citrusy, sulphuric, some weird sweet flavours. Silky mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Solid aroma, the flavour has some flaws, but still surprisingly decent for a Dutch Lager.

F: big, white, good retention. C: yellowish, hazy. A: floral, grassy, malty. T: malty, grassy, floral, crispy carbonation, bread, yeasty, refreshing beer, draft 0.3l at the Brewpub Bierfabriek in Amsterdam.

Tap at Bierfabriek Delft. Slight hazy light golden with white head. Nice malts here, biscuits, crackers, dry flour, slight musty grainy notes. Light herbs and a touch of lemon. Under medium sweet and light bitter. Under medium bodied. Nice.

On tap at ’De Bierfabriek’ as ’De Bierfabriek Puur’. Slightly hazy, pale straw yellow with a medium large, dense, stable, white head. Faint, sweetish, grassy and minimally fruity aroma of straw, sweet malts and some citrus. Sweetish, grassy and slightly fruity taste of sweet malts, straw and some citrus, followed by a crisp, moderately bitter, grassy finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, flat. Decent.

On tap @ the brewpub. A crystal clear pilsner looking one with a medium sized eventually sidesticking white top. Sweetish nose and sweetish taste. Not cloying but I can immediately say that this is not my kind of beer. Feels light oily in the mouth and its soft prickling on the bubbles. Grainy and wort-sweet in the taste. Lacks what I'm looking for right about now. 25.09.2014
