330ml bottle. Cloudy brown colour with a decent tan head. Aroma of caramel and dark fruit. Flavour of toffee with some spice and a slightly sweet finish. Good.

750 ml bottle labeled as the Pierre Celis Signature Selection - no mention of caves. Aroma of yeast spice, light fruit, dark fruit, arguably citrus. Ruby color with a beige head that was vigorous and persisting. Kept climbing out of the bottle neck. Medium bodied; creamy carbonation. Dark fruit, touch of heat, wood, roasted malt. Very nice feel in the mouth. The finish is pretty dry, seems to have a citrus touch, leaves wood notes. Malt is noticeable, but it’s not a sweet ending. It is a great ending.

A dark hazy brown ale with a thick big bubbled light moka head, with small dark floaties. The aroma is nice, veering on a light flemish sour, with light lemon, vinager, horseblanket. In mouth, a nice crisp malt, with light licorice and woody notes, prunes. A bit short in mouth, but very well done. Bieropholie import. BB15/12/06.

Copper-red / brown colour, Large off-white head. Aroma is of sweet fruits and spices. Taste is of sweet malts and dried fruits, but is not very complex. However, pleasant to drink.

[i]Bottle shared with Casey, Loz, Traci in a Belgian beer tasting night [/i] Warm amber in colour, with sourish nose ’some spice’? Tasred initially a tiny bit sour but sweet malty flavours coursed through, this reminded me of an ice lolly I had as a kid ’some sort of cider apple lolly as I recall’ Not that it particularly tasted of cider apples but then again nor did the lolly, but there were definate similarities a soft brown sugar finish with some dryness and I really rather enjoyed this suprise package.

Cloudy red-orange color with a full sticky head and some pretty heavy lacing. Appealing bubble gum and demerara sugar aroma. Lighter spicier notes might be phenols. Nice sugar and fruit up front on the tongue, with quite a bit of carbonation that lifts it right off the palate. Almost foamy mouthfeel, which has just a touch too much carbonic bite. Semi-dry finish with a lingering spiciness and a hint of alcohol. Nice, with some good complexity, but could be more drinkable, especially at only 6.5%.
