Bottle at Moorings. It pours clear brown with a thick beige head. The nose is earthy, brown bread, toast, light spice and wood. The taste is brown bread, raisin, date, caramel, wood, leather, light bitterness, candy and a touch of alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Rather drinkable stuff.

Apperently this is different from the small bottle with a blue label. The color of the beer certainly is different, but the taste is a bit similar. Also soft, creamy and with some herbs. Nice.

God duft av frukter og litt gjær. Gullen litt dunkel rødbrun farge. Tynt dekkende skum, noe heng langs kant. Nydelig frisk smak av frukter, noe karbonering.

Brown hazy colour, with medium beige head. Smell is nutty and some ripe fruits. Taste is similar, with some little wood notes, sweet but with some little sourness too. A good beer, but St. Bernardus has better ones.

Troebel licht bruin bier met hoppige smaak. mooie schuimkraag die blijft staan. Lichte rook smaak, chocolade en fruit. Smaak blijft opmerkelijk lang hangen.

Dark brown colour, white foam. High carbonation. Aroma of caramel and dried fruit. Sweet with light bitter finish. Medium body. Bottle from Beer Mania in 07.06.2010, price was 2,95 EUR.Małą butelka, z granatowa etykieta, ale z Piwo rubinowa-brazowa barwa. Smak lekko slodki na poczatku, potem przechodzacy w wytrawna octowosc, leciutko kwaskowaty posmak pozostawia. Bardzo dlugi finisz. Drozdze dodane do butelki zrobily swoje piwo staje sie metne. Smak to figi i suszona sliwka, ladna bezowa i spora piana, moze nie za trwala ale puszysta, wystrzelil korek z hukiem ze az sie zadymilo, ale mimo to srednio nagazowane.

Bottle shared with ajax25g. Cloudy brownish maroon color, massive beige head. Aroma of candied caramel and brown sugar. Taste is sweet raisins, dates, candied plums. Tasty. Earlier Rating: 5/30/2010 Total Score: 3.6Bottle at Brickskellar. Murky brown, beige head. Aroma of figs and prunes. Taste is sweet caramel and light spice. Good example of the style, but definitely for people with a sweet tooth.
