Our original flagship, Sawtooth Amber Ale, continues to stand the test of time. Enjoying a pint is like playing your favorite classic album. Nostalgic, influential and a journey to be enjoyed from beginning to end. Malty chewiness slowly transitions over to herbal, earthy hops that make way for the crisp, dry finish of this multi-award-winning ale.

Bottle. A- Caramel, malty, grains, alcohol, subtle spice. A- Amber color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Malty, grains, unbalanced, spices, wheat, caramel. P- Light body, average texture, medium carbonation, harsh finish. O- This was pretty band. I’ve been unimpressed with Left Hand and this doesn’t change that fact. Like an amber ale and just very bad.

0,355 l bottle, bought at Grebhan´s, Bremen. A nice amber orange in the glass, one finger white foamy head. Citrus and fresh hop on the nose. Starts with floral hop and a malt dosis, low dry bitterness. Hints of fresh hop in the aftertaste, little bit citrus sweetness. Longlasting mid dry bitter aftertaste. It´s okay.

Keg at The Earl of Essex, Islington, London. An amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Malty, caramel aroma. Tastes malty, caramel, slightly dry and one dimensional but quite drinkable.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Clear amber body with a thick off-white head. Low carbonation. Sticky lacing marks. Aroma of caramel, rusty metal, biscuit and light fig. Flavour of honey Cheerios, sponge cake, Digestives and overripe pear. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Not great - a bit flabby and dull.

Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Clear amber. Minimal, white head. Light toffee. Soft fruit. A little spicy graininess. Taste is light sweet. Some dryness. Palate has a thin mineral feel. Finishes dry, with some toffee sweetness. Not my thing.
