The non-barrel aged version our most popular Bergen County variant. We brewed this thick and luscious imperial stout using only the first runnings from a mash maxing grain bill and conditioned on a bowling bags worth of cocoa nibs, Madagascar Vanilla, Cold Brewed Coffee and Milk Sugar. Just like mixing the perfect cocktail, this White Russian inspired brew is far out!

16 ounce can. Jet black pour is topped by a dense, creamy dark tan head. Earthy roasted malt aroma hints at dark chocolate. Sweet roasted malt flavor upfront. Notes of dark roast coffee, bittersweet chocolate and vanilla. Creamy mouthfeel. Some warming alcohol as well. Tasty.

Got in a BIF from MacMalt. 750 ml bottle into snifter, no bottle dating. Pours dense opaque dark/brown black color with a 1 finger dense khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing cling on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, vanilla frosting, whipped cream, nutty coffee, toffee, marshmallow, fudge, cake batter, and toasted dark/brown bread; with light notes of molasses, smoke, dark fruit, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt, vanilla, cocoa, lactose, and light-moderate coffee notes; with great strength. Taste of huge milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, vanilla frosting, whipped cream, nutty coffee, toffee, marshmallow, fudge, cake batter, and toasted dark/brown bread; with light notes of molasses, smoke, dark fruit, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness. Very mild herbal/roast bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, vanilla frosting, whipped cream, nutty coffee, toffee, marshmallow, fudge, cake batter, toasted dark/brown bread, light molasses/smoke, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, vanilla, cocoa, lactose, and light-moderate coffee flavors; with a solid roast/hop bitter/sweet balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/roast bitterness. Light-medium carbonation and very full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/slick, and slightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Mildly increasing warmth of 10.5%. Overall this is a fantastic imperial milk/dessert stout! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, vanilla, cocoa, lactose, and light-moderate coffee flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip on for the big ABV. Never overly sweet despite low bitterness. Extremely rich and complex; with balanced malts, cocoa, vanilla, and lactose. Not a ton of coffee, but solid presence. A highly enjoyable offering.
