One of our brewery's oldest beers and one of the earliest, Italian-made American Pale Ales. In recent years, it has not been produced on a regular basis as priority has been given to hoppier, trendier beers. However, in response to pressure from loyal customers like the people from the Ligera pub (which was named after our beer), we have decided to relaunch this classic, Made in Lambrate beer. A decisive contribution was also made by the petition signed by 101 customers from Hop Pub in Milan requesting the return of one of their favourite brews. We will present the new Ligera, at Hop Pub in Milan, during their party to celebrate International Women's Day.

Ligera 5% increadibly pale gold for an APA. A woodsy pine bark nose, the body is light possibly  too light but alright. The taste is a solid hoppiness on a light malt body an overall satisfying beer.

Med Amber color. A bit earthy in the nose with some citrus fruits. The mouth is clean light but not too exciting. Modest bitter finish.

[10/19/13] Hand-pump at Eurhop Beer Festival 2013 in Rome. Slightly hazy orange. Pleasant hoppy aroma of overripe fruits, citrus and a bit of piney notes. Flavor has light sweetness and great tropical hops with some citrus and mild bitterness. Medium-bodied. Rounded mouthfeel. Really good.

On tap at Schouskjelleren. Almost clear deep golden to amber with s small, white head. Moderate hoppy and grainy aroma with citrus, pine and something slightly unpleasant. Moderate sweet with hoppy and grainy flavours and a quite decent bitterness in the finish. Quite nice, but there is something here that I don’t like, but can’t put my finger on it. Decent enough, but not something I would buy again.

Bottle @ de Molen. Hazy golden to amber color, medium off-white head. Aroma is soft fruity hop, hint of caramel, some yeasty notes. Aroma is not that outspoken, probably as it is pretty old already. Soft bitterness in taste, hint of sweetness. Medium in carbonation. Should try this more fresh I think, it has lost most of its power.
