One of our brewery's oldest beers and one of the earliest, Italian-made American Pale Ales. In recent years, it has not been produced on a regular basis as priority has been given to hoppier, trendier beers. However, in response to pressure from loyal customers like the people from the Ligera pub (which was named after our beer), we have decided to relaunch this classic, Made in Lambrate beer. A decisive contribution was also made by the petition signed by 101 customers from Hop Pub in Milan requesting the return of one of their favourite brews. We will present the new Ligera, at Hop Pub in Milan, during their party to celebrate International Women's Day.

Bottle at the De Molen July 2nd Tuesday tasting. Poured a very lively champagne like clear medium amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is stale malt with a little citrus and caramel. The flavour is medium bitter, big malt, nutty, alcoholic and with some toffee in the finish. It sounds great, but in all honesty, I didn’t like it that much.

Bottle shared at the De Molen Tasting. Pours clear orange with an off white head. Aroma of malt, orange, citrus, caramel, honey. Flavour is over moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Bottle found unexpectedly in a small off-licence in Kelvedon, Essex. Copper colour, small slightly off-white head. Fruity citrus and floral aroma. Nicely hopped, medium body and average carbonation. Enjoyable.

Bottiglia: Hazy, golden to deep golden, big rocky and stable off-white head, herbal grapefruity hoppy aromas with a delicate malty (almost chocolatey) background; moderate - not too dry - bitter-sweet flavour, too light bodied; grapefruity-malty finish with a slight tartness. Nice brew, but too thin…

750ml bottle. Minimally cloudy amber colour with average to huge, frothy to macropore, half-way lasting, moderately lacing white head. Hoppy aroma has herbal notes, some grapefruit. Taste is bitter hoppy, minimally grassy, minimally citrusy.

Golden colour, white head. Aroma of apricot, fruity yeast, light floral, malts. Light sweet flavour, light bitter, malts, quite light. Finish light honey, light sweet, light bitter.

75cl bottle. Pours cloudy amber with a lovely creamy head. The nose has grapefruit and pine. The taste has more grapefruit with a touch of malt on the end. The palate is medium bodied with a creamy texture and a bitter finish. Overall, it seems a bit too bitter at first but you get used to it.

75cl bottle @ ZZT V. Hazy orange color, full sized frothy white head that leaves a fair lacing and lasts for quite a while. Smell malts, sweetish, slightly spices, slightly yeasty. Taste malts, slightly yeasty, some hops, lightly bitter, slightly fruity. Nice one. Nice bitter aftertaste. Medium carbonation, low to medium body.
