A clever woman once said; ‘fair is foul and foul is fair’. On that note we threw in a young, unacknowledged hoppy pilsner gave it a limp, wrinkly flavor and finished it off with an insulting high price that will give you a foul feeling in your mouth. That’s why we name Evil Twin Brewing’s Low Life the Golddigger of Beers.

Sampled from tap at ’Beertemple’. Slightly hazy, golden yellow with a large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Fruity-grassy, a little floral aroma of fresh grass, some honeyish malts and citrus. Sweetish, fruity-grassy and slightly floral taste of fresh grass, honeyish malts and some citrus, followed by a short, moderately bitter, grassy and rather dry finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice, refreshing stuff!

Fra flaske på Mi2, Cardinal, .juni-16: uklar, lys korngul med ok skum. Aroma av bitre urter som brennenesle. Lett bitter smak og ettersmak, men i det store og hele en nokså uinteressant og uinspirert pilsner. Lett sødme i avslutningen.

355 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.5%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Surprisingly moderate aroma of grain and dust, only a hint of hops. The dry flavour is fairly well hopped, and the malty base is sufficient. Medium bitter finish.

355 ml bottle. Unclear yellow/golden body with a big, lacing white head. Aroma has pale malt, grain, grassy hops and a hint of popcorn. Flavor is light and refreshing, some malt and fruit in general with hint of bread. Medium body and slightly bitter aftertaste. A bit unusually for a pilsner, still a pilsner and basically more refreshing and tasting than most others.

Flaske 355ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsdalen. Batch 6. Drukket på Lillehøgda påsken -16. Gyldenbrun. Høyt kritthvitt skum som daler sakte. Litt uklar. Lett maltaroma. Smaken lett maltig med hint av frukt. Blir tørr etter hvert. Sikkert ok til mat.
