A clever woman once said; ‘fair is foul and foul is fair’. On that note we threw in a young, unacknowledged hoppy pilsner gave it a limp, wrinkly flavor and finished it off with an insulting high price that will give you a foul feeling in your mouth. That’s why we name Evil Twin Brewing’s Low Life the Golddigger of Beers.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to lager glass.
Appearance: semi-bright copper color with a two finger white foamy head which settled off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: light citrusy and floral hop tones over top of a light biscuity/bready malt backbone
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fair bitter to slightly bittersweet quality; finishes malty to slightly citrusy hoppy (but the hop part really seems like a stretch)
Texture: about medium bodied - maybe a touch under; sessionable; some smoothness but a light dry aspect to it
Overall: seems like a modernized pilsener where you don't know if it's a German one or a Czech one, but to be honest, that's okay because this was brewed nice enough to warrant more pours.

On tap at Torst, Brooklyn. Predictably, not a classic pilsner. Classic grain and pilsner malt elements are punched up with pepper, spice and juicy citrus hops. Tangy aftertaste. Serious carbonation makes it even more refreshing.

Bottle at home. Aroma is grainy malt, grass, biscuity, citrus, hops, hint of floral. Flavour is light sweet with a tasty moderate to medium bitter finish. Body is medium. A first class Pilsener, it doesn’t get much better than this.

That's the best out of the flight of four I had... and by that I mean, I stole my boyfriends.

16 ounce can. Bright, brassy gold pour. Large frothy beige head is enduring. Sweet biscuit malt aroma. Flavor is bittersweet hops over sticky, sweet malt. Some residual sweetness and herbal tea. Crisp, bitter finish has peppery notes.

US pint can drank at home while watching the Super Bowl, early hours of 8th Feb 2021; Go Buccs! Light haze to the pale golden body, fast fading white head. Grainy nose and flavour front, some mild citrus hop action for balance. Decent enough Pilsener, but nothing really special about it.
