Bottled. Goldeny amber colour, mediumsized fluffy slightly off-white head Aroma is fruits, wood, some slight saltwateryness, mild notes of grass as well. Flavour is fruits, nectar, some wood, mild earthy and herbal notes as well. Quite balanced and refreshing.

ambrata buona schiuma discreta persitenza naso luppolato leggermente maltato fresco e leggero come in boca malto lieve lupplatura prima non intensa ma piuttosto lunga nel finjale beverina peccato un piccolo sentore di formaggio

Bottle that I picked up at Westholme Londis Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon and drank at Cropredy Festival 2008 Poured a golden colour with some haze, refreshingly bitter sweet with maltiness also coming through. Nice fruitiness to this, the dryness and bitterness continue to show but the sweetness just wins out in the end, still its a jolly nice effort and one that i will seek out again.

Bottle. Clear medium orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate hoppy, pine, moderate malty, roasted, caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (281007)

Bottled. A light amber beer with a huge fluffy beige head. The aroma is sweet malty cobined with notes of caramel and strong notes of elderberries. The flavor is sweet with notes of toffee and flowery hops, leading to a dry lightly bitter hoppy end where a flowery note hangs around. Quite carbonated.

Bottle conditioned. My 500th rating. Golden body with a short lasting white head; gentle carbonation; deep earthy malty aroma, with a spicy edge; rather thin in the mouth, with sweet malts and some citrus, then a long smooth bitterness develops with a resinous quality, leaving a dry and chewy finish, and pleasant warming senstation in the gut. An excellent ale.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of kook. Slightly hazy amber golden with a white head. Fresh, citrusy aroma. Medium-bodied, sweetish malt notes with a citric and rather distinct bitterness. Very dry finish. Almost American in style. 211006

Cask@Kent Beer Festival 2006. Amber color, not much head. Sweetish toasted sugar aroma but same time hoppy. Fruity, hoppy, soft palate - not very bitter but Kentish hops back the palate nicely. Nice session ale.
