Dead sea-rious is our first ever collaboration with our friends at Arizona Wilderness. The boys from AZ Wilderness came to Jordan and worked with us on Dead Sea-rious Gose, which is a wheat based sour and salty beer brewed with Dead Sea salts and coriander seeds. We then cold conditioned with pink grapefruit from the Jordan Valley.

Bottle. Pours gold. Grapefruit, lemon, good salinity, touch of wheat, touch of white grape and a slight tropical twinge, little perfumed in the finish. Light refreshing spritz in the body. Extremely clean and well made. Much better than I was expecting from something I picked up as a country tick.

Crisp, very clear golden and lightly peach coloured body with a thinnish, pure white head that fades very quickly. Aroma of oranges, limes, brine, salt, coriander seed, wheat, yeast and a dose of flowers. Light-bodied; Strong salty flavour of brine with some grass, hay, flowers and hibiscus around, but the coriander seed, wheat and yeast flavours dominate along with a dose of tart and fruity notes towards the end. Aftertaste shows a nice and pure, easy-drinking, slightly briny, but very flavourful beer with some grapefruit and citrus notes as well, but the limes and orange notes show through and leave the finish, slightly fruity and sweet, but crisp and salty, in a good way. Overall, a nice and interesting beer that shows well as a gose, that still has a lot of fruity and tart notes, but the salty and brine components are the strongest. The easy-drinking nature of the wheat and coriander seed make this even nicer. I saw that the beer came from Jordan and wanted to try it - and I'm very glad I did! I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Leuken's Liqours in Clearwater, Florida on 14-April-2019 for US$2,99 sampled in my hotel room here in Lake Buena Vista, Florida on 15-April-2019.

(Thanks, Jim! Ozzy70) A- Coriander, grapefruit juice, lime. A- Golden orange color, clear liquid, no head. T- Coriander, blood orange, grapefruit, salt, mild fruit bitterness, lime. P- Light body, average texture, high carbonation, slightly unbalanced finish. O- I've really enjoyed my offerings from Arizona Wilderness and why not try a Jordan beer so a collab sounds down right reasonable. This didn't impress me too much. Perhaps because it was 2 years old, but when a Jordanian beer arrives in Nebraska, it probably took 2 years to get it here. Lots of grapefruit pith bitterness and a tart citrus flavor. Just didn't like it all that well.
