Dead sea-rious is our first ever collaboration with our friends at Arizona Wilderness. The boys from AZ Wilderness came to Jordan and worked with us on Dead Sea-rious Gose, which is a wheat based sour and salty beer brewed with Dead Sea salts and coriander seeds. We then cold conditioned with pink grapefruit from the Jordan Valley.

330mL bottle, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of sea salt and tart citrus. Flavour is quite tart, with lots of lacto, tart lime, and plenty of saltiness. There's some grainy acetic character. Not bad.

Golden colour. Tart on the nose, with a bit of fruity notes, hints of salt. On the palate, the salt comes through up front, with a light tartness, with a light fruitiness. Basically a clean gose. Not bad.

11.2oz bottle pours with a crystal clear pure gold body that supports almost no head at all. The aroma offers up red apples, apple skin, some sweet pale mats and then thin cranberries moving into lemon and lime tart smelling citrus. The taste delivers similar notes as apple moves to a small island of pale malt sweetness while being assaulted by a modest degree of tart lemon to lime citrus. The salt is light and i didn't notice it until i started thinking there should be some. Pretty nice gose. I have enjoyed everything from this brewery.

Who new that Jordan makes beer? 12oz bottle. Pale with a faint haze. I was concerned about the grapefruit but it's very mild and I might not even be able to tell if I didn't know it was there. Very nice salty brine. Tartness, which I think comes from the coriander, which is lemony, tea, herbal. This is the way it is supposed be done, why did I have to get it from Jordan?

Brouwerij Lane, Brooklyn bottle: pours orange with a small white head. Aroma is slightly fruity, lactic notes... much less than expected. Taste is modestly sour. Citrusy notes are there. Grapefruit is pleasant. Salt is very mild.

Pour is a clear orange with a small white head. Aroma is lactic tartness with some citrus tartness. Flavor is kind of a bland generic malt with a little citric tartness a nice dose of coriander and very little salt. This was just ok, I like the coriander in the beer but the other ingredients fell a bit flat.

12 oz. bottle, shared with Albert. Pours a clear, pale yellow, with a small, bubbly, white head. The aroma is lemon, salt, butterscotch, and roses, and vanilla. Sweet and earthy, with a mild tart flavor. Light body, with a smooth, lightly acidic mouthfeel. This is a very mellow gose. Enjoyable.
