Cloudy orange-brown body, thick cream head. Big, dark yeast chunks swirled in my glass...delicious. Big bready, caramely aroma, backed by dusty esters and warming alcohol. Rather simple body, offering dry caramel and toast, spicy bitter esters, crackers, and alcohol. Not very sweet. Definitely had a brandy-like oxidized characteristic to it. Bitter finish. Smooth, good, but not great.

Beautiful amber color. Excellent malt aroma, with fruity and resinous hops. Malty and hoppy taste, resinous and fruity. May I say balanced for my taste? Anyway, it’s well brewed. Excellent.

2003 vintage, on tap at Mug’s Ale House - cloudy, turbid, strawberry color - kind of damp, thin aroma of fig and hops - highly acidic for the style, but the alcohol is well-hidden - some caramel malt and light fruits (strawberry) - very thin, especially in the finish - bad keg?

A hazy amber beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is mostly alcoholic, but with some notes of hops. The flavor is sweet hoppy - from a good hop sort - giving it grapefruit notes, is it Cascade? The alcohol also shows its presence with a slight metal note, leading to a dry end. Nice.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Slightly hazy amber with a tall, handsome and rather stable yellowish head. Fruity, lightly bubblegumish nose. Huge, solid body with a lot of caramel and fruit. Very aromatic hoppy finish. Great beer. 270106
