Pale blond, the fine and regular sparkling ensures a fine and stable head.
Scent Slightly malty, a nice touch of alcohol, spicy. Feels like the sound shot of alcohol is igniting the mouth. In reality the tongue and palate are warmed. The taste is characterized by its roundness. The aftertaste is strong, long-lasting and dry bitter.

Super. For a strong ale, it's dangerously easy drinking!

Hazy golden with a big white head. Aroma of pineapple, bubblegum, spices and alcohol. Sweet spicy and fruity flavour. For such a strong, sweet and yeasty beer, it’s actually quite refreshing and easy drinking.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Slightly hazy golden colour, frothy white head, some lacing. Aroma is malty, fruit, alcohol, yeast. Taste of sweet fruit, malt, slight herbal note, with a light bitterness and alcohol in the finish. Really enjoyed this one.

Clear medium golden colour, small frothy white head, dissipating quickly, fair lacing. Aroma malty, apricot, peach, star fruit, light honey, caramel, candy sugar, yeast, alcohol. Taste light heavy sweet and light bitter, fruity, toffee, herbal touch, alcohol. Sweetbitter but especially alcoholic finish, full-bodied, oily texture, average carbonation. Rather one-dimensional muscleman, definately enjoyable but I miss the finesse.

Slightly hazy yellow with good carbonation levels and well forming head. Belgian citrusy notes are the dominant flavours. Good beer, but I find it noticeably different after having travelled overseas.(3.8 march 2016) 3.7 May 2020
