Pale blond, the fine and regular sparkling ensures a fine and stable head.
Scent Slightly malty, a nice touch of alcohol, spicy. Feels like the sound shot of alcohol is igniting the mouth. In reality the tongue and palate are warmed. The taste is characterized by its roundness. The aftertaste is strong, long-lasting and dry bitter.

On tap at Hops, Crewe. Pours golden yellow with a sizable white head and good lacing. There’s yeast and burnt toast in the aroma plus some traces of over-ripe rotting bananas. In the mouth it is quite sweet but with some underlying sharpness. Flavour has continental hops, corn, yeast and alcoholic strength is quite evident. Later on spices and cloves come through as well leading to a very dry finish. This is rather nice but just lacks a certain something.

330ml bottle from Tesco. Pours a light cloudy gold with big white head which settles to a nice top. Aroma of grains, banana, spice. Taste is quite boozy, yeasty and fruity with a floral bitter and honeyed finish. Its a good beer but it gets a bit samey after a while as there is not much flavour progression from start to finish like you can get in the best Belgium beers.

Sehr helle Farbe, minimale Trübung, cremiger Schaum.
