Cape May Brewing Company in Cape May, New Jersey, United States 🇺🇸

IPA - Imperial / Double Regular

6.92
ABV: 7.5% IBU: 70 Ticks: 5
Brewed with hefty portions of wheat and oats, White Caps has a soft mouthfeel, a pillowy head, and a robust body. Featuring Mosaic and Citra hops, this effervescent Double IPA explodes with notes of papaya, mango, stone fruits, and citrus. Like the Atlantic during a nor'easter, White Caps is slightly dangerous, utterly crushable, and thoroughly New Jersey.

On tap at Cabanas in Cape May. Cloudy gold color topped by a moderate creamy white head. Overripe citrusy malty notes in nose. Think melon, papaya and mandarin. First sip is juicy citrus hops and sticky malt. Light as IIPAs go. Very very juicy and drinkable. Slightly wheaty and doughy. 7.7% ABV is under the radar. Good stuff!
