Bottle picked up at Morrisson, Ayelsbury, Bucks 13-06-08 Pours hazy light golden with decent white foamy head. Typical wheat beer aroma’s and flavours though maybe not as strident as some in this catergory, quite refreshing and really not bad at all for Grolsch, there is a nice little citrus bite to this and whilst the banana can be just a little sweet this wasn’t as sweet as I expected, not bad at all. I’m really quite pleased that Grolsch can do something like this and may buy a few of these for the summer.

Glowing golden with a large, pillowy white head. Sweet banana, spices, yeast, and some more fruit in the aroma. Medium, lightly carbonated mouth. Flavor is a bit light. Yeast, fruit, spice, and banana. I’m pleasantly surprised with this hefe, even though it’s not all that amazing.

On draught at some deli near Blackfriars, Glasgow. Well an odd beer for number 3700. Cloudy orange gold beer with lasting thin white head. Cereal aroma, slight banana, bit of stale cardboard. Some bubble gum on aroma, lots of bubblegum in mouth, good fullness. Good full bananary, bubble gum wheat beer, a little sweet maybe, some fizz on tongue on finish which mostly comes from the carbonation. Maybe just a little too sweet and artificial. Still, decent competent wheat beer.
