Cloudy dark yellow with lots of bubbles streaming up to the bright white head. Slighty yeasty aroma. Texture is very smooth with only limited carbonation. Flavour is metallic and yeasty with a little fruit sweetness (banana). Clean on the pallet and very refreshing.

450 ml brown swingtop bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 5.5%. Golden colour, slightly hazy. Huge white head. Strong and sweetish aroma of candy, banana, citrus and bubblegum. Typical hefeweizen flavour with banana and cloves, hints of citrus. Somewhat sweeter than the bulk of hefeweizens. Very refreshing.

Draught. Hazy pale golden colour, big creamy white head. Aroma is wheat, malts, citrusy hops and some slight notes of plastic. Flavour is citrus, wheat some malts and hints of caramel. A decent Hefeweizen, even though the plastic aroma ruins it a bit.

I thought I was drinking a wit. A very light wheat beer. Fairly refreshing and cools off spicy Indonesian food. Cloudy gold color but not sediment and a short head.

Huge yellowish head over fully hazy orange-yellow beer. Wheat, cloves, banana - nothing but hyper-classical. Bit of citrus and other fruity esters & hint at lactic acid. Extremely estery taste; banana, clove but also meaty, yeasty esters. Fairly dry, the esters don’t make it over-fruity. Wheat is omnipresent. Medium bodied, wheat slickness. Pretty dry, and rather heavily carbonated. Very true to style, and, logically, adding zilch in order of new taste experiences.

Bottle. Weak wheaty aroma. Cloudy golden colour, small stable white head. OK wheat flavour. Not very spicy or citrusy. Not much esters either, but definitely German style. Slightly unpleasant bitterness in aftertaste.Turns orange and a bit more flavourful as the sediment is mixed with the rest of the beer. Not sure this was entirely fresh, BB MRT 06, March 06? Could be 2 months past BB date then.

(swing top bottle, received from bierkoning – thanks !) Hazy orange colour with a big foamy white head. Yeasty and light-sweet wheat-malty and banana-fruity aroma with soft clovy notes. Light bodied, lively carbonated mouthfeel. Moderately sweet wheaty taste with fruity banana notes; quite dry and rather slim finish with notes of cloves. Nice and proper-made Weizen from the Netherlands.

Cloudy golden brown color, big white head. Spicy aroma, wheat, banana, yeast. Taste is slight sour of citrus, sweet of banana, thick of yeast. Bit watery palate. Decent weizen.
